Exploring Kichijoji & Shimokitazawa

I'm so thankful for my roomie Kayla today.  I probably would have gone back to my room right after church to cry because the homesickness is real lol but instead Kayla and I spontaneously decided to explore a bit of Kichijoji 吉祥寺, a nearby station with tons of restaurants/cafes and shops around.  After lunch at a revolving sushi restaurant, taiyaki, and some window shopping/actual shopping (I did buy some shoes ah), we went on an adventure to Shimokitazawa 下北沢~  Ever since I heard about the cute vintage-y, very artsy and hipster neighborhood of Shimokitazawa a couple of years ago, I really wanted to go but didn't find the time to last year.  Finally got to go today with Kayla and it was such a cute place with tons and tons of vintage shops, chic cafes, and even a takoyaki stand run by the cutest people (an old couple I think?).

350 yen for 8 pieces?  Oh yes.

Our last Sunday before classes begin well spent~
